Odette launches B2B Trust Service

As proposed in the Security Certificate Exchange (SCX) recommendation Odette is launching its Trust-service Status List (TSL) service.

Digital certificates are used to secure data exchange and to ensure authenticity of electronic documents. But can you trust the certificates  you receive from a remote site?

Odette sets up TSLs which help you to answer this question. Upon application and after a validation process, CAs which comply with defined security policies, will be listed on an appropriate TSL.

In other words, if the issuing CA is on the list, you can trust the individual certificates issued by this CA.
