The Odette ID (aka OSCAR Code) provided by the OSCAR Service allows you to generate a worldwide unique identification for any business entity (commercial or technical) that needs to be identified in exchanges between industry partners. It is based on the requirements of the automotive industry but can be used by any industry sector.

Areas of Application

The OSCAR Code is designed to meet the requirements of many different fields of application:

- Partner Identification in EDI Exchanges

- Computer/system identification as used in OFTP/OFTP2
