OFTP2 Software Interoperability Testing Service - Order Form
The Odette OFTP2 Software Interoperability Testing Service is intended to ensure flawless communication between the various OFTP2 software packages available on the market. For software providers the tests are designed to prove that they have correctly implemented the OFTP2 specification including the various security features. For companies wishing to implement OFTP2 this new service means that they can rely on the proven interoperability of software which has been tested against Odette specifications, making the job of software selection that much easier.
The interoperability tests are designed to:
· Validate a compliant implementation of the protocol as described in RFC 5024.
· Check the compliance of the software product with the OFTP2 Implementation Guideline, especially chapter II, “Developer Implementation Guideline“.
· Test the correct implementation of the Odette Security Certificate Exchange (SCX) recommendation regarding the fetching and processing of Basic and OFTP2 Trust-service Status Lists (TSL).
Upon successful completion of the tests Odette will:
· List the software package on Odette web sites as software, that “has successfully passed the OFTP2 Interoperability Tests”
· Issue a certificate to the applicant testifying to the successful completion of the tests
· Grant the applicant the right to use the registered OFTP2 logo on software, marketing brochures, web site and other promotional media in connection with the tested software package.
Software providers who participated in the development of the OFTP2 specification (Core Developers) are already in the process of proving the interoperability of their OFTP2 products. Click here to access the list of those who have successfully completed the tests so far.
